Hey hey,

How was your Mother’s Day weekend?  We played it low-key.  My oldest got sent to a job in Maine, so he left before 10AM and my youngest headed back to college on Monday morning, so it was pretty uneventful.  So uneventful that I ended up spending most of my day outside with my chickens.

Speaking of chickens, we got new baby chicks on Friday and they are adorable.  So cute!  I’ve been sharing pictures in my stories on Facebook.

I’m on track to launch my new podcast on June 19th.  I’ve gotten all my graphics done, my trailer, my intro and outro have been recorded – it’s all shaping up nicely.  So, what happens after launch?  If you saw last week’s newsletter, you know my first goal is 100 downloads per episode.  Then what??

1000!

Hitting 1,000 downloads is a moment worth celebrating — and there’s actually TWO ways to think about it:

🏆 1,000 downloads total across your episodes
🏆 1,000 downloads per episode

Both are BIG wins — and both tell you that you have an audience that’s showing up.
You’re building trust, warming leads, and creating real momentum.

When you’re reaching 1,000+ listeners, it’s time to start thinking strategically about:

  • Adding direct CTAs for your offers in your episodes

  • Tracking traffic and leads (hello, UTM links!)

  • Using your show as the heart of your business growth strategy

You’re not “just” a podcaster anymore — you’re building a powerful brand.

Next step: Set a new milestone.
Maybe it’s your first 5,000 downloads. Maybe it’s booking 3 new clients. Maybe it’s growing your email list.

Whatever it is — your podcast is the vehicle to get there.

I’d love to know where you are on your milestones.  Have you reached 100 downloads per episode?  1000?  Reply and let me know.

Celebrating every milestone with you,

Kim

P.S.  You don’t have to wait until you feel “ready” to grow your podcast. Every download, every episode, every tweak you make right now builds real momentum. Let’s make it happen together — just hit reply if you’re ready for support.

Hi, I'm Kim!

It’s wonderful to have you here!  If I’m not producing podcasts, I’m listening to them while gardening, playing with the dogs or tending my chickens.
