From YouTube to Podcast: A Soulful Guide to Sharing Your Offer Without Feeling Salesy
As spiritual entrepreneurs, many of us walk a fine line between service and sales. We want to share our gifts, but we don’t want to push. We want to grow, but we don’t want to lose our integrity.
You’ve probably poured your heart into your content—whether on YouTube, in sessions, or on social media. But when it comes time to talk about your offers? It might feel uncomfortable, awkward, or even a little off-brand.
So how do you show up, share your message, and promote your offerings in a way that feels aligned with your heart?
That’s exactly what this week’s podcast coaching call explores. I sat down with Sharon Hayes—a Reiki Master, trauma-informed coach, and deeply soulful content creator—to talk about expanding her reach and growing her business through her YouTube-based podcast. Together, we explored the mindset shifts and practical steps that support aligned promotion and sacred visibility.
Whether you’re currently on YouTube, thinking about starting a podcast, or simply want to invite more aligned clients into your world—this conversation offers a beautiful roadmap.
1. Your Offer is an Invitation
Let’s start here: Your offer isn’t a disruption. It’s an invitation.
Instead of seeing your program, course, or session as something you “have” to mention, start recognizing it as part of your spiritual service. If it helps people heal, grow, or reconnect to themselves, then sharing it is a loving act.
In Sharon’s case, she was hesitant to mention her Oracle program or coaching offers within her video podcast episodes. She worried it might feel salesy or detract from the sacred tone of her content. But we explored how mentioning your offers organically—especially when they relate to the topic—can be an easy, aligned way to let your audience know how they can work with you.
You don’t have to do a hard sell. You can simply say: “If this resonates, I go deeper into this in my Oracle program, and you’re welcome to join. The link’s in the show notes.”
Simple. Kind. Empowering.
2. Simplify Your Call-to-Action (CTA)
When you try to tell your audience to follow you on five platforms, read your blog, book a session, and sign up for your newsletter all in one breath… they won’t do any of it.
Instead, choose one clear call-to-action per episode or video.
Whether you’re on YouTube, Instagram, or audio—make it easy. Drop just one link (not five). Ideally, it’s either:
-
A direct link to your offer
-
Or a single “hub” link like your website or Linktree
Let your CTA be a doorway, not a maze.
3. Repurpose What You Already Have
Here’s where it gets exciting—especially if you’re already creating video content on YouTube.
Sharon has nearly 300 YouTube videos. That’s hundreds of hours of soul-aligned content that can be repurposed into an audio podcast, expanding her reach without starting from scratch.
We discussed simple, free tools like:
-
Spotify for Podcasters (a free way to host your audio podcast)
-
Auphonic (a free tool that levels and enhances your audio quality)
-
Video editing apps that let you export just the audio from your existing content
By taking what she already has and putting it into audio form, Sharon could meet listeners where they are—on their walks, during their commutes, or on platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
If you’re already creating, this is a no-brainer way to reach new audiences.
4. Make Your Content More Discoverable
YouTube is a powerful platform, but it only works if people can find your content.
That starts with keywords and clarity.
If your playlists are labeled “Meeting of the Minds” and “Saturn Day Sabbath,” they may sound poetic—but they don’t tell a new listener what they’re actually about. Renaming them to something like:
-
“Meeting of the Minds: Conversations for Spiritual Growth”
-
“Saturn Day Reflections: Energy Teachings & Intuition Talks”
…can make your content more searchable and magnetic.
Also, don’t forget to add your links and descriptions to each video. If someone stumbles on your most powerful teaching and there’s no way to find or follow you? That’s a missed opportunity.
5. You Don’t Have to Do Everything at Once
If you’re feeling overwhelmed reading this—pause. Breathe.
You don’t have to overhaul everything today. Sacred visibility isn’t about a big flashy launch. It’s about intentional, aligned steps that build momentum over time.
Start by updating your YouTube descriptions with one clear link.
Then, maybe choose one video to repurpose into an audio podcast.
Later, consider renaming your playlists to reflect your niche and voice.
Build at your pace. Stay connected to your heart. Your presence is more than enough.
If you’ve ever struggled to speak up about your work or felt resistance to promoting your offers, this episode will feel like a deep exhale. It’s filled with real talk, loving guidance, and gentle encouragement for growing your platform in an authentic way.
